Peach Lemonade - a great little change up to your standard lemonade!

Peach Lemonade Recipe

Ingredients

For the Simple Syrup:

  • 2 cups sliced peaches
  • 3/4 cup sugar may go up to 1 and 1/2 cups if peaches are not very sweet
  • 1 cup water

For the Lemonade:

  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup lemon juice about 5-6 small lemons or 2 large lemons

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan place peaches, sugar, and 1 cup of water.
  2. Over medium heat stir frequently and bring to a boil.
  3. Allow to cool for 10 minutes.
  4. Place peach mixture in blender, and blend until smooth.
  5. Strain peach puree through a strainer.
  6. Add the remaining water, and lemon juice to peach syrup.
  7. Serve with ice.

Recipe Notes

Note:
If using very tart lemons, start with 3/4 cup lemon juice and go from there. Since the peace flavor is more subtle, it can be more easily masked by the lemon.
