We just started FoodApparel.com in April 2013, so we have a lot that we’re still getting up and running! Here’s a quick rundown of active items currently on the website and a little preview of good stuff to come!
RECIPE BOX. The most important? The recipes! Our focus here on Food Apparel is to give you a great recipe base and then provide ideas for modifications and substitutions so you can make it to your style. After each recipe title, you’ll notice one of the following:
Quick N’ Easy Style (easy fix food)
Classic Style (traditional feel-goodery food)
Gourmet Style (over-the-top, dress to impress food)
Healthy Style (health-conscientious food)
In the notes section on each individual recipe, find ways to “Make it Fit” (healthy mods), “Change it Up” (substitutions), “Dress it Up” (more gourmet), or “Dress it Down” (faster/easier). These will change as we continue to play around with the recipe and come up with different versions. Eventually, our plan is to have 2-4 variations on each recipe that you can use.
KITCHEN WARDROBE. How do you stock up your kitchen to be fully prepared for any occasion? Here, we will be starting a series to share our favorite kitchen “stuff” ranging from handy kitchen gadgets to essential spices. We’ll be starting this series Fall 2013, so come back soon to check it out!
RESOURCE CLOSET. Check back soon for altitude adjustment, conversion, and substitution charts. Also, we’ll be starting a Food in the Nude series in Spring 2014 so you can get to know your raw ingredients a little better.
