For the Love of Pumpkin!

One of the houses that I manage is on the border of a growing city, but still has a nice small-town countryside feel to it. The last couple of times I’ve driven out to it, I can’t help but get a cheesy grin when I see the huge field of pumpkins just a little ways down the road. Hundreds and hundreds and hundred of pumpkins, to be exact (or not so exact). One day I saw the owners packing up a truckload of them, I’m sure to sell for all of the fun Halloween Jack-o-lantern carving.

Well, now Halloween is over, and a new smell is in the air….Thanksgiving! And while we have quite an awesome lineup of Thanksgiving goodness that we are planning on sharing over the next few weeks, we thought we could take a moment this week to celebrate all that is pumpkin! And we’re talking more than just pumpkin pie. So sit back and enjoy some sweet and savory pumpkin-lover recipes that you will want to add to the lineup this Fall.
