Salt Cellar: Storage

By Christina | Food Apparel Leave a Comment

Crate&Barrel Acacia Salt CellarSalt shakers and grinders are pretty much the standard in all kitchens these days, and while those are nice and all for a little finishing touch seasoning or for people to salt to their taste, I actually really love having a salt cellar for my measuring needs while baking and cooking.

I have a couple of these Acacia Salt Cellars from Crate&Barrel (pictured above) and I love using them, especially for my kosher salt and fleur de sel. I find that it’s a lot easier to just grab a pinch or throw in a spoon to measure, rather than pouring out of the containers. While there are dozens of salt cellars out there, I find this one to be one of the nicest looking, most functional and best bargain!
