I enjoy making things by hand, but when I want to get my dough ready for any type of bready product, out comes this beautiful little bread machine by Breadman! It was a perfect gift many years ago and has been worth its weight in gold. Oh yes, this is used often, especially in the wintertime when the air is a little chill.
No, I don’t actually cook my bread in this. Instead I just pretty much use it for the dough cycle. Anywhere from challah to cinnamon rolls, the dough gets prepped in here. It gets everything mixed up really well, and then helps the dough through the first rise since it is basically a little proofing drawer on this setting.
You know, if you have a proofing drawer in your oven, you might not need one of these. But then again, it’s still awesome for the kneading! And did I mention, it cuts down on my dirty dish mess?
