Try out this “sit-and-forget” crockpot apple butter. It’s so easy and tastes fabulous.
When living in Alabama, I discovered Apple Butter. It is wonderful paired with cream cheese as a Fall appetizer, in muffins, on breads, pancakes, and on top of pork.
When I went to let the kids run and play at Grandma’s this week she took us out to pick apples. We spent ten minutes when we got home to chop the apples up and throw them in the crockpot with a few other ingredients to make this wonderful treat. Thanks Grandma!
This recipe made enough to fill 5 freezer jam jars.
